Let’s be honest: mornings are chaos. At least for me, they are. Between the shower, chugging a glass of water, and getting dressed, there’s barely enough time to breathe, let alone whip up a balanced breakfast. Usually, I grad a slice of whole grain bread with hummus. While it’s quick, nourishing and does the job, it’s not exactly inspiring.

How my smoothie routine was born

Here’s what I love about my smoothies: I can effortlessly pack 4-6 nutrient-dense, fibre-rich ingredients into one drink. It’s quick, satisfying and full of the vitamins I know my body needs.
And now? I’ve gone from being a weekend smoothie person to sneaking in at least one green smoothie during my busy workweek.

Mango Spinach Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 handful spinach
- 1 banana frozen
- 3 tbsp mango frozen
- 250 ml coconut milk
- 1 date
Instructions
- First toss in the frozen banana and mango.
- Then add the date and the spinach.
- Pour in the coconut milk and blitz for around 40 seconds.
- If it’s all creamy you’re good to go.
