When Banana meets Chocolate!
After my first series of oatmeal cookies I was looking for a new recipe and found one including my favorite combination : Banana & Chocolate.
Since I am baking more regularly, my love for cookies has tripled. I have to admit that I’ve become a huge fan of oatmeal too, the reason why I am always happy to find new cookie recipes including those lovely oats. Those who know me a little better are not surprised to see that I was finally baking something including these two ingredients. From chocolate fondue to fruit snacks on the annual fairy in Luxembourg, I have always chosen the above mentioned combination.
From my local friends here in Serbia to my friends in Lebanon, all agreed that the soft but crunchy cookie is absolutely not to miss. Some were even ready to buy me an additional baking bowl to make some more for them.
Why you’ll love this recipe?
Incredibly creamy texture: New York Cheesecake is famous for its dense, velvety texture, thanks to a generous amount of cream cheese and a touch of sour cream creating a melt-in-mouth-experience.
Perfect balance of sweet and tangy: The slight tang from the cream cheese and sour cream balances perfectly with the sweetness, giving it a rich but never overly sweet flavour, that keeps you coming back for more.
Crunchy crust: The buttery slightly crunchy crust provides a delicious contrast to the creamy filling, adding a layer of flavour and texture that complements each bite.
Versatile for toppings: New York Cheesecake serves as the ideal canvas for endless toppings – fresh berries, caramel sauce, chocolate drizzle, or even a dusting of powdered sugar – making it a dessert that can be tailored to any craving or occasion.
